Latinx in Gaming Co-Founder Elaine Gómez to Keynote EXP’s Women in STEM Virtual Career Day

We are proud to announce Elaine Gómez, game designer at E-Line Media and co-founder of Latinx in Gaming, as our keynote speaker at the 5th annual (but first virtual!) Women in STEM Career Day, a career exploration event, on Wednesday, February 24. Elaine will address hundreds of young women from 10 EXP-supported high schools and guest schools from across Southern California.

Elaine is a passionate game designer and developer currently working at indie game studio E-Line Media. She is also a proud co-founder of Latinx in Gaming, a non-profit organization creating a community and amplifying the voices for Latinx game industry professionals in the US and Latin America. Elaine is passionate about working with young people and has a deep desire to give back to the community.

As we take our signature Women in STEM career day virtual for the first time, this event will feature more than 10 exciting STEM Experiences demonstrations from 30+ exhibitors including iRobot, FedEx, and Torrance Memorial Medical Center. Students will also participate in a digital scavenger hunt for fabulous prizes including a pair of Spectacles by Snap Inc.

Joining Elaine in inspiring the new generation of women in STEM are more than 20 STEM professionals who will share their career journeys in break-out panels. Confirmed speakers and moderators are:
