Your Support in Action

Thankful for industry support at Barstow and Central high schools!

Over 50 students and 11 industry professionals attended Barstow High School’s first Industry Coaching session in October, including Barstow Fire Protection District, the City of Barstow, the Barstow Police Department, and Desert Community Bank.

Consisting of six-monthly sessions, EXP’s Industry Coaching program connects students with local industry professionals to help students achieve their academic and career goals through mentoring, hands-on activities, and speaker sessions. We look forward to upcoming sessions at Barstow and Central High Schools!

Thank you, Gardena High School, for hosting this essential event for students, and thanks to 6 friends of EXP who volunteered their time and talent!

Full-house at the (Re)Imagining Apprenticeships event

80 community members, including industry professionals, educators, and students, attended the (Re)Imagining Apprenticeships event on November 17 in Laguna Hills to explore ways to develop the workforce through apprenticeships. Check out the presentation slides here.

Thanks to our partners, DIAG USA, Orange County Regional Consortium, and Vital Link, for helping us produce this dynamic event for young adults and professionals interested in apprenticeships.
