It All Starts with an Opportunity

The EXP Internship Program is a high-impact journey for 11th-grade students enrolled in EXP-supported high schools in Southern California. This program brings together employers, educators, and parents to prepare high school students for tomorrow's workplace through career readiness workshops and hands-on internship experiences.

Not only do internship host sites invest in their local community and make a difference in their interns' lives, but they also expand their future hiring pools, boost company morale, and raise awareness of their organization and industry.

In the summer of 2024, we placed 125 students in internships with nearly 60 corporate and community organizations in LA and Orange Counties, as well as the City of Barstow.
